WHAT IS BIONIC DESIGN ?
The organism is a molecular machine system composed of nucleic acids, peptides, proteins and other biomolecules, and provided with self-organizing and self-repairing functions. The Project is to study structures and functions of the biological system and to develop basic technologies for producing prosthetic cells, tissues and molecular machines to imitate these biological systems in the laboratory scale. The Project carries out R&D works in two groups: 3D Tissue Module Engineering and Biomolecular Mechanism and Design.
